Apple Launches AirPods Pro 3 with Heart Rate Sensor, U2 Tracking, Live Translation
Apple recently unveiled the AirPods Pro 3, highlighting new features such as a built-in heart rate sensor and significantly improved active noise cancellation, which is twice as effective as the previous generation. The earbuds maintain a similar design to their predecessors but offer a better fit with five silicone ear tip sizes, including a new XXS option. A notable upgrade is the integration of the U2 chip in the charging case, enhancing location tracking capabilities with a range three times greater than the prior U1 chip, enabling more precise tracking via the Find My app. Additionally, Apple introduced a Live Translation feature for real-time conversation translation, available on AirPods Pro 3 and as updates on AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4, though this feature will initially be unavailable in Europe due to regulatory constraints. The upcoming iOS 26 update will bring a hearing protection feature to AirPods Pro 2 and 3 in several countries, including Türkiye, allowing users to reduce exposure to loud sounds in noisy environments, enhancing overall user safety. The AirPods Pro 3 will be available for pre-order at $249 with a launch date set for September 19th, offering up to 10 hours of battery life in transparency mode.
