Multiple U.S. Farms Open Fall Harvest Events Featuring Mazes, Pumpkin Patches Through November
Across the U.S., corn mazes, pumpkin patches and fall festivals have opened for the season, offering family-focused attractions that largely run through early November (many through Nov. 2). Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Lockport, Ill., opened Sept. 20 and runs daily 10 a.m.–6 p.m. through Nov. 2, with weekday admission from $19.95, weekend admission $29.95, discounts for military and grandparents, and dozens of rides and attractions including a mountain slide, dino barn and two corn mazes. North Folk Farms’ “Amazing Fall Fun” in Waterloo, Ind., runs Thursday–Sunday through Nov. 2 and features a mega tube slide, jumping pillow, zipline rides and more; tickets are $14 online and $15 in person. Regional roundups in Maryland and the Upstate highlight themed mazes, apple- and pumpkin-picking, hayrides, live music and barnyard animals — including an Oz‑themed Maryland Corn Maze timed with the Wicked: Part Two premiere. La Union Maze in Anthony, N.M., opens Sept. 27 with a 13‑acre Sesame Street “Road Trip Across America” maze (one of 35+ Sesame Street mazes nationwide), plus pumpkin patches, jumping pillows, pig races and other family events through early November, part of a network expected to draw up to a million visitors this season.
