Marvel’s Vision Quest Recasts Key MCU Roles for 2026 Disney+ Series

Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ series Vision Quest, set to premiere in 2026 as part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will follow the character Vision, played by Paul Bettany, exploring his quest for identity after acquiring the memories of the original Vision. The series, developed by Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas, features several returning and new characters linked to Tony Stark's technology, including James Spader reprising his role as Ultron, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. A notable casting update is Orla Brady, a Star Trek: Picard alum, taking over the role of the AI F.R.I.D.A.Y., previously voiced by Kerry Condon; Brady's portrayal may present F.R.I.D.A.Y. in a humanoid form alongside other AI characters who might appear as Life Model Decoys. Todd Stashwick has been confirmed as Paladin, an assassin pursuing Vision to steal his technology, adding further depth to the series' narrative. Vision Quest promises a blend of science fiction and superhero action, expanding Vision's story within the MCU and setting a foundation for his future.
