Dearborn Heights Man Sentenced for Harboring Teen

Kamal Abou Darwiche, 62, of Dearborn Heights, was sentenced to three years of probation after pleading guilty to attempted child sexually abusive material and harboring a runaway juvenile. The case centered on a 16-year-old girl who fled the Vista Maria residential facility on March 14, 2025, and was discovered in Darwiche's apartment over a month later.
