England Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt Returns India ODI Series

England women's cricket team captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is set to return for the three-match ODI series against India starting July 16, after recovering from a groin injury sustained during the ongoing WT20I series. She missed the latter part of the T20Is, with Tammy Beaumont leading the side in her absence, but is expected to play in all three ODIs, which serve as preparation for the upcoming 50-over World Cup. Alongside Sciver-Brunt, left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone, who recently recovered from a quad injury, and batter Maia Bouchier, who impressed with an unbeaten century in a warm-up game, have also been recalled to the squad. Fast bowler Lauren Filer, returning from a knee injury, is included as the team blends experienced players with emerging talent.
