Ipswich Town have signed forward Jack Clarke from Sunderland for an initial fee of £15 million, potentially rising to £20 million with add-ons. The 23-year-old, who scored 28 goals in 114 appearances for Sunderland, will join Ipswich on a five-year contract after completing his medical on Friday. Clarke, previously with Leeds and Tottenham, becomes Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna's 10th signing of the summer as the club bolsters its squad following promotion to the Premier League. Sunderland are also in talks to sign new players, including Roko Simic from Red Bull Salzburg and Wilson Isidor from Zenit St. Petersburg. Clarke expressed enthusiasm for Ipswich's vision and trajectory, aligning with McKenna's ambitious plans for the club. Ipswich's next Premier League match is against Fulham on August 31, following losses to Manchester City and Liverpool.
