New Jersey Man Arrested for Threatening Flight Crew, Passengers

Luis Vaquero, a 27-year-old from Passaic County, New Jersey, was arrested after a disruptive incident aboard a flight from Miami to Newark. He allegedly threatened and harassed passengers, including a disabled child, and mocked Jewish passengers while also threatening flight attendants who refused to serve him alcohol. Upon landing at Newark Liberty International Airport, Vaquero forced his way to the cockpit door, demanding to see the pilot and threatening to 'break your f*****g jaw' to a flight attendant. Law enforcement was alerted, and Vaquero was arrested on charges of interference with flight crew members and attendants by assault or intimidation, facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted. The incident reflects growing concerns over in-flight safety and passenger behavior. Vaquero appeared in federal court and was subsequently released.
