Renault Unveils Emblème Concept Car in Paris

Renault has unveiled its latest concept car, the 'Emblème', at the Paris Motor Show, aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The vehicle features a dual-energy powertrain that combines a 40kWh electric battery with a hydrogen fuel cell, allowing it to travel over 620 miles while emitting 90% less CO2 across its lifecycle compared to conventional vehicles. Renault emphasizes a cradle-to-grave approach to decarbonization, focusing on eco-design, resource selection, manufacturing, usage, and end-of-life processes. The Emblème incorporates 50% recycled materials and is designed for recyclability, achieving a 70% reduction in the carbon footprint of its components.
