Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has granted a period of exclusivity to American businessman John Textor for the potential purchase of his majority stake in the club. This comes after previous failed takeover attempts by Daniel Friedkin and 777 Partners. However, any deal hinges on Textor selling his 45% stake in Crystal Palace, as Premier League rules prohibit owning multiple clubs in the same division. Textor, who also has stakes in Lyon, Botafogo, and Molenbeek, has been in active discussions with Moshiri to explore the feasibility of the deal. Everton manager Sean Dyche has expressed concern about the ongoing uncertainty affecting the club's financial stability and player transfers.
