Blink, CBRE, Tata Power, North Lanarkshire Accelerate EV Charging Expansion

Several initiatives are underway to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across various regions. Blink Charging has partnered with the City of Alameda, California, to install up to 50 EV charging ports, beginning with 13 this year. In North Lanarkshire, Scotland, over 250 public charging points have been installed, surpassing the region's target of 6,000 charge points ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, CBRE is deploying 3,600 EV chargers across 600 sites in North America, responding to high demand for EV infrastructure among property managers. In New York City, a $60 million investment will support the addition of 267 new charging stalls, including significant installations at JFK Airport and other key locations. Lastly, Tata Power plans to expand its EV charging network in India to 400,000 points by 2027, aiming to enhance accessibility and adoption of electric vehicles.
