Chad Daybell Sentenced to Death in Murder Plot

Lori Vallow Daybell, known for her apocalyptic religious beliefs, was sentenced in Arizona to life in prison for conspiring to murder her estranged husband, Charles Vallow, and her niece’s ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux. This sentence adds to her existing life terms in Idaho for murdering her two children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and conspiring in the death of Tammy Daybell, her then-husband's former wife. Prosecutors said Vallow Daybell was motivated by financial gain and manipulated both her brother, Alex Cox, and husband, Chad Daybell, to commit the crimes. The killings were described as part of a broader pattern linked to their doomsday religious convictions, with victims’ families describing her as 'evil' and 'greedy' in court. Notably, Chad Daybell has now been sentenced to death for his role in the murders. Vallow Daybell represented herself at trial and will return to Idaho to continue serving her sentences.
