The film, directed by Samuel Jerome Mason, will explore the narrative of school friends transformed by music, debuting in U.S. theaters on January 15, with international screenings following on January 16. Tickets for the one-night-only events are priced at $5, with proceeds benefiting the Mac Miller Fund, which supports arts education and mental health initiatives. The 14-track album features collaborations with artists like SZA and includes long-awaited tracks and previously unreleased material. Miller's estate emphasized the project's significance, stating that its release was often discussed by the artist before his passing. This marks the second posthumous album since Miller's death in 2018, following the release of Circles in 2020.
