Scott Frost Returns as UCF Head Coach

Scott Frost is returning to the University of Central Florida (UCF) as head coach after Gus Malzahn's resignation to join Florida State as offensive coordinator. Frost previously led UCF from 2016-17, achieving a remarkable 13-0 record and winning the Peach Bowl, which earned the program a share of the national championship. His tenure at Nebraska, however, was marked by struggles, culminating in a 16-31 record and his firing in 2022. Following a year as an analyst for the Los Angeles Rams, Frost's return marks a significant shift as UCF aims to regain its competitive edge in the Big 12. Athletic director Terry Mohajir has made Frost his second hire, having initially brought in Malzahn.
