Postal Vote Results Released for Sri Lanka Election

In the recent postal vote results for the 2024 Presidential Election in Sri Lanka, independent candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe secured the highest number of votes in the Batticaloa District. Meanwhile, National People's Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake dominated the Kegalle and Matara districts with 20,062 and 19,712 votes, respectively. In the Matale District, Dissanayake again led with 12,186 votes, followed by Wickremesinghe and Sajith Premadasa. Dissanayake also topped the Galle District postal vote with 5,480 votes, while in another report, he achieved 14,050 votes in the Moneragala District.
