

Shah Reviews Naxal Strategy as BJP Wins Haryana
Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a review meeting in New Delhi with Chief Ministers of several Naxal-affected states, emphasizing the government's strategy to eliminate Left Wing Extremism by 2026 and highlighting a 72% reduction in violence. Haryana's BJP, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, achieved a landmark third consecutive victory in the state assembly elections, securing 48 out of 90 seats. Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the recent success in anti-Naxal operations, which saw 31 Maoists killed and a focus on rehabilitation for surrendered cadres. Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also met with PM Modi to discuss state development issues and the upcoming Rashtriya Ekta Divas celebrations.
