Charli XCX and Yung Lean Join Sacrifice Cast

The upcoming film 'Sacrifice', directed by Romain Gavras, has expanded its star-studded cast to include Charli XCX and Yung Lean, who will make his film debut. The movie, loosely inspired by the story of Joan of Arc, features Anya Taylor-Joy as Joan, who is on a mission to save the world from a volcanic threat, alongside Chris Evans, Salma Hayek, and John Malkovich. Filming is currently underway in Greece and Bulgaria, marking Gavras' first English-language feature. The plot revolves around Joan hijacking a charity gala and taking three hostages, forcing them on a perilous journey. Charli XCX is also involved in several upcoming film projects and will host and perform on SNL, while Yung Lean continues his music career. The film is produced by Iconoclast and involves multiple co-producers and financiers, including Gucci and Film4.
