Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton Headline Healing Appalachia Festival in Kentucky

Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton, both natives of Kentucky's Country Music Highway, will co-headline the 2025 Healing Appalachia festival, marking the event's first move from West Virginia to Ashland, Kentucky. The festival, scheduled for September 19-20, aims to raise awareness and funds for opioid addiction recovery across Appalachia and is recognized as the largest recovery-based music festival in the region. Founded by Childers and organized by Hope in the Hills, a West Virginia-based nonprofit, Healing Appalachia has grown from a small gathering to an event drawing over 20,000 attendees. Organizers emphasize the significance of hosting the event in Kentucky, reflecting both artists' deep ties to the area and their commitment to supporting recovery efforts in their home communities. The event coincides with National Recovery Month and seeks to offer life-saving resources, empathy, and hope to those impacted by addiction.
