Four students sustained minor injuries when the wall and roof of a classroom collapsed at the Government Higher Primary School in Kunthoor, Kadaba taluk, Karnataka. The 74-year-old building was undergoing repair work due to rain damage when the incident occurred, and the students were trapped under debris but were quickly rescued and hospitalized. The headmaster and a junior engineer have been suspended pending an investigation into safety lapses. Officials have decided to relocate the 150 students to nearby buildings until reconstruction is complete to prevent future incidents.
