Olympian Asher Hong Wins Second U.S. Gymnastics National All-Around Title
Asher Hong of Stanford University dominated the 2025 U.S. Gymnastics Championships in New Orleans, securing his second national all-around title with a record two-day total score of 170.020 and a margin of victory of 7.465 points, the largest ever in U.S. Gymnastics Championships history. Hong won individual national titles in floor exercise, still rings, and vault, and finished as runner-up on parallel bars, earning a spot on the World Team. Fellow Olympian Frederick Richard finished second overall despite deductions for uniform nonconformance, while Fuzzy Benas took third place. Brody Malone, a three-time U.S. all-around champion, won the parallel bars event and placed in the top five on several apparatuses. Stanford athletes performed strongly overall, with Taylor Burkhart winning the high bar and Colt Walker finishing fourth in the all-around competition. The championships serve as a key event ahead of the 2025 World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.
