Kim Deal Releases Single From Solo Album

Kim Deal has released her new single 'A Good Time Pushed,' which serves as the closing track on her debut solo album, Nobody Loves You More, set to be released on November 22 via 4AD. The song, engineered by the late Steve Albini, features contributions from her Breeders bandmates Jim Macpherson and Kelley Deal, and explores themes surrounding the beginnings and endings of relationships. Deal's forthcoming album comprises songs developed over a decade, with some tracks dating back to 2011, and includes previously released singles 'Coast' and 'Crystal Breath.' The track has been described as a blend of slacker rock with fuzzy guitars and celestial harmonies, reminiscent of the Breeders' earlier sound. Accompanying the single is a visualizer created by filmmaker Mark Satterthwaite. This release marks a significant moment in Deal's career, transitioning from her work with iconic bands like the Pixies and the Breeders to a solo endeavor.
