Royal Mail launches stamps celebrating UK garden wildlife

Royal Mail is launching a new stamp collection that celebrates the diversity of garden wildlife in the UK, featuring images of popular species such as a fox, blackbird, frog, blue tit, hedgehog, robin, and snail. This initiative, created in collaboration with Professor Dawn Scott from Nottingham Trent University, aims to inspire people to support wildlife in their gardens. David Gold from Royal Mail highlighted the British affinity for gardens, noting that they can serve as vital habitats for various creatures. The stamps are available for preorder now and will be officially released on March 11. Both Royal Mail and Professor Scott expressed hope that the beautiful imagery will encourage wildlife appreciation and conservation efforts in personal gardens.
