NBCUniversal Awards $227K Local Impact Grants to Dozens of Nonprofits Across Multiple US Regions

NBCUniversal has awarded over $227,000 in unrestricted funds to local nonprofits across multiple U.S. markets through its 2025 Local Impact Grants program, which supports organizations in youth education, empowerment, next-generation storytelling, and community engagement. Since its inception in 2018, the program has distributed $21 million to 615 nonprofits in 11 markets including New York, Washington D.C., Connecticut, the Bay Area, and Boston. Recipients include groups addressing issues such as hunger, mental health, literacy, STEM education, and creative arts, with initiatives like tutoring services, food security programs, youth development through sports, and digital citizenship education.
