Annual Tree Lighting Celebrations Announced

The Children's Remembrance Day Committee at University Hospital Galway has launched its annual 'Sponsor a Christmas Tree Light' initiative, allowing individuals to honor deceased loved ones or send gifts during the festive season. Each sponsored light costs €5 and comes with a card that can be sent to the bereaved, fostering remembrance and positivity, especially in light of the recent loss of key committee member Paul Vignoles. Meanwhile, Central Ohio is gearing up for its holiday tree lighting ceremonies, featuring events filled with live music, activities, and thousands of lights across various locations, including the Columbus Commons and Easton. Healdsburg is also celebrating with its Merry Healdsburg Tree Lighting, promising a winter wonderland experience with carriage rides and a holiday market. In addition, the District 11 of #OurCounty kicked off the season with a family-friendly tree lighting event at the Kendale Lakes Library, while Fall River announced its annual Tree Lighting Celebration, which will feature free activities and a holiday market after the Children's Holiday Parade. These events collectively highlight community spirit and the significance of remembering loved ones during the holiday season.
