Brit Tourist, 28, Allegedly Beaten to Death by Bouncers in Bangkok

A 28-year-old British tourist, Nick Weir, died after an altercation with bouncers outside a karaoke bar in Bangkok, Thailand. Weir reportedly behaved erratically and attempted to force his way into the 91karakoe bar, demanding beer before being ejected by the staff. Two male bouncers chased him on a motorcycle and a physical confrontation ensued in a nearby alley, where he was eventually knocked unconscious. Although the bouncers called emergency services, paramedics were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, approximately 200 meters from the bar. Thai police are currently investigating the incident and questioning the two bouncers involved, as forensic results are awaited to determine the cause of death. Eyewitness accounts and CCTV footage suggest Weir was not intoxicated at the time of the incident.
