Knicks Hire Mike Brown, Embrace Deeper Rotation

The New York Knicks have hired veteran coach Mike Brown, a near-30-year NBA coach who brings multiple championships and a 2023 Coach of the Year award to New York. Brown says he will import lessons from Golden State about pacing players’ minutes and avoiding the wear-and-tear of “chasing” every regular-season win, departing from Tom Thibodeau’s heavy-usage approach.
