Two Food Recalls for Undeclared Allergens
Home Bargains has recalled three Milka chocolate bars—Milka Hazelnut (90g), Milka Whole Nut (95g) and Milka Oreo Brownie (100g)—after labels failed to declare allergens in English, creating a possible health risk for people with milk, hazelnut, soya or wheat/gluten allergies; the Food Standards Agency says all best‑before dates are thought to be affected and customers with relevant allergies should not eat the products. Separately, Teasdale Foods, Inc. has recalled certain Martin’s and Giant Crunchy Taco Dinner Kits (UPC 68826757516, lot 25257, Best‑If‑Used‑By MAR 13 26) and Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kits (UPC 4099100318715, lot 25259, Best‑If‑Used‑By MAR 15 26) after cocoa mix packets containing milk were mistakenly included and mislabeled as taco seasoning by a third‑party supplier, leaving the milk allergen undeclared. The taco kits were distributed to Aldi, Giant and Martin’s stores across roughly 27–29 states plus Washington, D.C., and the FDA warns people with milk allergies or severe sensitivities face a risk of serious or life‑threatening reactions if they consume the affected products. No illnesses have been reported in either recall to date. Consumers are urged to return affected taco kits to the place of purchase for a full refund and may contact Teasdale at teasdalecomplaints@teasdalefoods.com with questions; the FDA has posted the recall notice and product photos online to help identify affected boxes.
