EZVIZ Funds Removal of 20,000 Kg Plastic Across 29 Global Communities
EZVIZ, a global smart home security brand, has expanded its Green Initiative through a new global partnership with Plastic Bank, a social fintech organization focused on reducing plastic waste and supporting local collectors. As part of the 'Together for Change, Bottle by Bottle' campaign, EZVIZ will fund the removal of 20,000 kilograms of plastic waste from the environment in 2025, equivalent to one million plastic bottles, benefiting 29 communities across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa. Plastic Bank's circular economy model allows local collectors to exchange collected plastic for income and social benefits, thus improving livelihoods while protecting the environment. EZVIZ integrates sustainability throughout its product lifecycle, having prevented 22.3 tons of plastic waste in 2024 through recycled materials in its robot vacuum portfolio, and producing battery cameras with solar power, 80% recyclable components, and fully recyclable packaging. The company has also significantly reduced environmental impact by eliminating over one million bubble wrap bags per month and reducing paper usage through streamlined packaging and laser-etched labels. Both EZVIZ and Plastic Bank emphasize that collective small actions can create significant positive impacts for communities and the planet.
