Six Killed in Somalia Bomb Blasts
At least six people, including an IRGC commander, were killed in two separate terrorist attacks in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province. The first incident occurred when several terrorists opened fire on victims returning from a charity event, while the second attack targeted police officers. The militant group Jaish al-Adl, based in Pakistan, has previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks in the region. In Somalia, twin bomb blasts in Mogadishu and Jowhar left six dead and ten injured, with the Islamist militant group al-Shabab suspected of being behind the attacks. The blasts occurred near the National Theatre and a livestock market, with authorities highlighting the ongoing threats posed by such militant groups. Additionally, Somalia's Prime Minister condemned Ethiopia's actions that he claims violate Somalia's territorial integrity during a recent address at the UN General Assembly.
