Ringo Starr Announces New Album Look Up

Ringo Starr has announced his new country album, 'Look Up,' set for release on January 10, 2025, marking his first full-length project in six years and his return to the genre after 55 years since 'Beaucoups of Blues.' The album features 11 original tracks, with nine co-written by producer T Bone Burnett, who praised Starr's significant influence on drumming and music. The lead single, 'Time On My Hands,' showcases Starr's heartfelt approach to songwriting and features contributions from notable country artists such as Alison Krauss and Billy Strings. Starr initially intended to create a country EP but quickly realized the project had evolved into a full album due to the quality and number of songs. Reflecting on his lifelong passion for country music, Starr expressed gratitude to Burnett and the talented musicians involved in the project. The album also includes performances by Larkin Poe, Lucius, and Molly Tuttle, further enhancing its country credentials.
