Over 200 Animals Join Paranaguá Pet Walk Opening Rocio Festival

Across the United States, various pet-centric events celebrated animals and community engagement in early November 2025. In Paranaguá, Brazil, the 2nd edition of the Pet Walk with Our Lady of Rocio gathered over 200 animals for blessings and festivities in honor of Saint Francis, patron saint of animals, underscoring themes of care and love for all creatures. In the U.S., Atlanta hosted the Howl-O-Weekend Doggie Crawl, a Halloween-themed event featuring costumed dogs, trick-or-treating at local businesses, and a "Best Dressed Doggie" contest, with proceeds benefiting local animal welfare organizations.
