Multiple Vehicles Stolen, High-Speed Chase Follows in Toledo, Monroe County

A dramatic high-speed chase began early Friday morning in Toledo, Ohio, after up to 15 vehicles were reported stolen from a Stellantis facility. The pursuit involved a stolen Dodge Durango, which the driver maneuvered dangerously along I-75, attempting to evade law enforcement by turning off headlights and swerving across lanes. After the Durango slowed down, the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot into a nearby field, later being picked up by another stolen vehicle, a blue Nissan Rogue, which also fled from police. Despite efforts from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, including deploying stop sticks, the suspects managed to escape. Both the Toledo Police Department and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident, with two of the stolen vehicles already recovered.
