This partnership aims to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, with all royalties from the song benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Frontman Jacoby Shaddix expressed admiration for Underwood's vocal talent, highlighting her contribution as bringing new meaning to their cause. Underwood, a fan of the band, shared her honor in collaborating for this important message. The initiative also promotes the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the U.S. and Canada, reinforcing the significance of open conversations about mental health. The original song has previously raised over $250,000 for AFSP through live performances and donations.
