Vikings Honor Khyree Jackson After Tragic Accident

The Minnesota Vikings are honoring rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson, who tragically died in a car accident on July 6, by wearing 'KJ' decals on their helmets and having coaches wear lapel pins with his initials throughout the 2024 season. The team has committed to paying Jackson's $827,148 signing bonus to his estate and covering a significant portion of his funeral expenses. Jackson’s No. 31 jersey and locker will remain unused for the season. A private celebration of Jackson's life will be held in Minnesota, and his family will be flown in for the event.
