32 Rescued After Yacht Sinks Near Miami Beach

Thirty-two people were rescued on Saturday after a 63-foot yacht began taking on water and partially sank off Monument Island near Miami Beach. The incident occurred around 5 p.m., prompting a swift response from the U.S. Coast Guard, Miami Beach Police, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, and several 'Good Samaritan' boaters. All passengers were safely transported to Miami Beach Marina and evaluated by medical personnel, with no injuries reported. Cellphone videos captured the dramatic scene of the yacht, identified by some sources as a Lamborghini Tecnomar, partially submerged and nearly vertical in the water. The yacht is being recovered, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is leading the investigation into the cause. The vessel does not currently pose a hazard to navigation.
