Paramount International Markets President Pam Kaufman Exits Amid Post-Skydance Merger Reshuffle
Pam Kaufman, a longtime executive at Paramount who served as president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products, and experiences, is departing the company amid a broad executive reshuffle following its merger with Skydance Media. Kaufman, who joined Paramount in 1997 and helped transform Nickelodeon into a global franchise powerhouse, has overseen major initiatives including the launch of billion-dollar franchises like SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol, as well as global consumer products and themed experiences. Her departure follows the appointment of a new leadership team led by CEO David Ellison and president Jeff Shell, with Kevin MacLellan named president of international and global content distribution. Kaufman will remain as a consultant through the end of the year and expressed pride in what she and her teams have built while expressing optimism about the company's future under new leadership. Her exit is part of a significant restructuring that has also seen other senior executives leave and new hires made, such as the addition of Makan Delrahim as chief legal officer. Kaufman’s legacy at Paramount includes expanding the company’s global footprint across multiple entertainment sectors and driving billions in retail sales from licensed consumer products worldwide.
