Wilco Announces Deluxe Reissue of A Ghost Is Born

Wilco is set to reissue their acclaimed 2004 album, A Ghost Is Born, on February 7, 2025, in celebration of its 20th anniversary. The reissue will be available in two formats: a 9xCD set and a deluxe 9xLP and 4xCD collection, featuring a total of 65 unreleased tracks, including demos, outtakes, and a complete live concert recording from Boston's Wang Center. Additionally, the box set will include a 48-page hardcover book with previously unpublished photos and liner notes by music historian Bob Mehr. An alternate version of the track 'Handshake Drugs' from the recording sessions has been released to preview the collection. The album, which won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, has been described by Jeff Tweedy as a personal reflection of his struggles during its creation. This reissue follows the band's previous successful anniversary release of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
