West Yorkshire Launches Vision Zero Strategy

Mayor Tracy Brabin has launched the West Yorkshire Vision Zero Strategy, aiming to eliminate all road deaths and serious injuries by 2040. In 2023, 1,450 individuals were killed or seriously injured on the region's roads, prompting a focus on a safe system approach encompassing safer roads, behaviors, and speeds.
