Khazna Partners Nvidia to Build AI Factories Across MEA
Following President Donald Trump's visit to the UAE and the announcement of a 5 GW UAE-US AI campus, Khazna Data Centres has partnered with NVIDIA to develop advanced AI infrastructure across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. NVIDIA has certified Khazna's next-generation data center designs to support the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, ensuring compatibility with the latest GPU-accelerated workloads. Khazna plans to build AI data halls with capacities up to 50 MW and AI clusters up to 250 MW, with many facilities located within the UAE-US AI campus, positioning the UAE as a global AI infrastructure leader. The company aims to scale its total capacity to 1 GW in multiple countries, including France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye, and Kenya. This collaboration exemplifies growing ties between the UAE and U.S. technology leaders to drive AI innovation and digital transformation in the region. Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna, emphasized that this initiative supports the UAE's ambition to lead in AI-driven innovation at an unprecedented scale.
