Suspected Murder–Suicide at Kenmore Hills Airbnb

Police in Kenmore Hills, Brisbane, found a 54-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl dead at a luxury multimillion-dollar Airbnb during a welfare check and declared the property a crime scene. Authorities say the woman has been reported to be an anaesthetist and investigators are treating the deaths as a suspected murder–suicide. The home, on a sprawling estate backing onto Mount Coot-tha National Park, has been removed from Airbnb listings. Police say there is no ongoing threat to the community and have not publicly confirmed the victims' relationship. Investigations are ongoing and authorities are asking anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
