Tom Cruise is actively promoting the eighth and final installment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, titled "Final Reckoning," with press events held in South Korea and Japan ahead of the film's release. Marking his 12th visit to South Korea, Cruise expressed his deep admiration for the country and shared excitement about performing extreme stunts in the film, including a daring aerial sequence involving a plane. The movie continues the story of Ethan Hunt and his team facing a global crisis, with Cruise maintaining his tradition of performing his own stunts to heighten authenticity. Co-stars such as Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, and others joined Cruise at these events, highlighting the film's ensemble cast, while Paramount Pictures International promoted the movie in Asia, including the Philippines where actor Alden Richards met Cruise. The film will premiere in South Korea and the Philippines on May 17, 2025, and across other regions shortly after, following screenings at Cannes.
