Barcelona Loans Ansu Fati to Monaco with Purchase Option
Spanish forward Ansu Fati is set to join French club Monaco on a one-season loan from Barcelona, with an option to buy for approximately 11 million euros. Barcelona will cover part of Fati's salary during the loan, easing their financial burden, while Monaco will pay about 3.7 million euros of his net salary. The deal includes a buy-back clause allowing Barcelona to re-sign Fati for around 28 million euros, maintaining control over the player’s future. Fati, who struggled with injuries and limited playing time at Barcelona and spent last season on loan at Brighton, aims to regain form at Monaco, which is also signing Paul Pogba and Eric Dier. The official announcement is expected around July 1-3, following Fati's medical examination. This transfer reflects Barcelona's strategic effort to manage finances while supporting a promising talent's career revival.
