Three Arrested for Second-Degree Murder in Derry May Homicide
Three men—Jeffrey Li, Marco Junior Marquez Vera, and Ayaan Nisaar—have been arrested and charged in connection with the May 19, 2025, stabbing death of Gui Lin in Derry, New Hampshire. Li and Vera face second-degree murder charges for recklessly causing Lin's death by stabbing, while all three are charged with robbery, attempted burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary, as they reportedly used physical force during a theft at the warehouse where Lin was killed. Li and Nisaar were apprehended in Queens, New York, and Marquez Vera was arrested in Madrid, Spain, with all expected to be extradited to New Hampshire. The investigation involved cooperation from multiple agencies including the New York City Police Department, FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Authorities have encouraged the community to provide any helpful information to assist ongoing inquiries. These charges and arrests follow a coordinated law enforcement effort to address this violent crime and bring those responsible to justice.
