Iowa Hawkeyes Boost 2026 Class with Key Commitments

The Iowa Hawkeyes have made significant strides in their 2026 football recruiting class, securing commitments from several top prospects, including offensive linemen Owen Linder and Hudson Parliament. Linder, a three-star recruit from Minnesota, chose Iowa over offers from Kansas, Kansas State, and others, joining the likes of four-star recruit Carson Nielsen in the Hawkeye's lineup. Hudson Parliament, a four-star prospect and the top player from South Dakota, also committed to Iowa, impressing with his dual capability on offense and defense. Additionally, in-state three-star offensive lineman Colin Whitters has joined the Hawkeyes, confirming Iowa's focus on strengthening their offensive line. With these commitments, head coach Kirk Ferentz aims to enhance Iowa's competitiveness in the Big Ten after a period of underperformance. The Hawkeyes have now secured six recruits for their 2026 class, including notable prospects such as defensive back Marcello Vitti and quarterback Cash Herrera.
