Frank Skinner Marries, Receives MBE

Comedian and presenter Frank Skinner, born Christopher Collins, has married his long-term partner Cath Mason after 24 years together. The couple, who met when Mason worked for his management company and share a son Buzz, held a private ceremony on the stairs at Camden Town Hall, attended only by their son. Mason, who previously rejected Skinner's proposals four times, chose a simple event without traditional wedding elements, wearing a flowery dress and keeping her surname. They walked in to a song by The Fall, reflecting their shared musical history. Skinner revealed the marriage on his podcast, surprising his co-hosts, and described the event as basic but emotional. Additionally, Skinner was awarded an MBE for services to entertainment and discussed the humorous origin of his stage name at his investiture.
