A 20-year-old Omaha man, Carsyn Storm, died in a motorcycle crash after fleeing a traffic stop on Saturday evening. The incident began when a state trooper attempted to stop Storm for speeding and having no license plate on I-680 near Pacific Street. Storm led police on a high-speed chase, reaching speeds of over 110 mph on I-80 before crashing into a van at the intersection of 120th and I Streets after running a red light. The crash resulted in serious injuries to the van's driver and passenger, who were taken to the hospital. The Nebraska State Patrol confirmed Storm was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
