Wabtec Narrows 2025 EPS Outlook; Q3 Tops Estimates
Wabtec reported third-quarter adjusted EPS of $2.32 and revenue of about $2.88 billion, up 8.4% year-over-year. Growth was driven by stronger freight and transit sales—freight equipment deliveries boosted freight net sales and digital sales rose roughly 45–46% after the Inspection Technologies acquisition, while transit sales grew about 8.2%. The company narrowed its 2025 adjusted EPS outlook to $8.85–$9.05 (raising the lower end) and reiterated its full-year revenue target of $10.925–$11.225 billion. Cash provided by operations fell to $367 million from $542 million a year earlier, with higher tariffs and working-capital effects cited as headwinds pressuring margins and cash flow. Shares rose about 1.8% in regular trading to $196.95 after the report, and CEO Rafael Santana highlighted backlog growth and disciplined execution.
