Lainey Wilson Plans Major 2026 Australia, New Zealand Whirlwind Tour
Grammy and CMA-winning country artist Lainey Wilson is set to embark on her Whirlwind World Tour across Australia and New Zealand in February 2026, marking her biggest tour in the region to date. The tour will include stops in major cities such as Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, coinciding with the release of the deluxe edition of her 2024 album Whirlwind on August 22, which features five new tracks including "Somewhere Over Laredo" and "Bell Bottoms Up." Wilson, who won Best Country Album at the Grammys and was the 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year—the first woman in over a decade to earn the title—will be joined by US country acts Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts, both making their Australian debut. Since her breakthrough, Wilson has amassed over a billion streams, multiple Billboard #1 singles, and a platinum-selling catalogue, solidifying her as one of the leading voices in modern country music. The tour follows her successful 2024 visit to Australia, where she headlined CMC Rocks QLD and sold out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, with the upcoming tour expected to deliver even larger arena performances.
