106-Year-Old UK Woman Attributes Longevity to Chocolate, Parties

Edith Hill, a 106-year-old woman from the UK, attributes her longevity to a daily indulgence in chocolate and a lively social life. Residing at Aspen Lodge Care Home in Skegness, she has lived through two world wars and witnessed numerous historical events, including the reign of five monarchs and the leadership of 23 prime ministers. Despite her love for chocolate, particularly Cadbury Dairy Milk, she has never smoked or heavily consumed alcohol. To celebrate her upcoming birthday, the care home has launched a campaign to collect 106 birthday cards, one for each year of her life, with 40 cards already received. A special spring-themed party is planned, featuring a double chocolate cake and live music from her favorite eras. Staff and family describe her as independent and full of life, showcasing her enduring spirit and community connection.
