Former Nurse Charged with Drug Theft

Two nurses have been arrested for theft-related charges in separate incidents. Meanwhile, in Coventry, 36-year-old Joan Samson was charged with theft by an employee for stealing morphine from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, as well as fraud and concerns related to Class A drugs. Both nurses are set to appear in court, with Churney currently incarcerated and Samson's hearing scheduled for January 22, 2025. Authorities urge potential victims of Churney's actions to come forward, as they believe there may be more victims.
