Tech enthusiast Chris Messina revealed that similar courses might soon be available in the U.S., as he discovered sections for courses within the app despite them being empty. This expansion is part of Spotify's strategy to diversify its services and boost revenue through new monetization opportunities, such as charging for courses and introducing ads in audio content. Additionally, Spotify is positioning itself competitively against Audible with a $10 monthly subscription for standalone audiobooks. The company has highlighted several recommended courses to help users embark on their learning journeys.
